Momotarou Densetsu Gaiden is a role-playing game. It tells stories from Japanese folklore. You can choose to control one of three characters: Yashahime, the daughter of the king of the underworld; Binbougami, the infamous thief; and Urashima, the legendary sinner who befriended the dragon clan after saving a turtle. Choosing one of these characters launches you on an adventure of your own. On the agenda: exploring villages, caves and dungeons, gathering information from NPCs, as well as turn-based battles to advance your character’s stats.

Momotarou Dengeki: Momotaro Thunderbolt 2 on Game Boy is the sequel to the horizontal scrolling action/platform game, inviting you to control a hero from Japanese folklore. In this opus, the avatar can once again metamorphose into an animal to enhance his agility and abilities. The ever-popular peach-casting technique can be used to defeat enemies and earn a lot of money if used correctly. This second instalment improves visual rendering and gameplay comfort, with a more flexible and better thought-out camera.
